High DPC and can't find the "true" cause

    Hi,

After searching and searching i finally gave up and decided to ask directly. Basically I felt like my computer was kinda slow since i reinstalled windows and updated everything, mainly getting into a League of Legends match which my computer used to do very quickly, but now i'm one of the last to load.

I decided to use "DPC Latency Checker" to see if it was alright, the result was "Picture 1", so after a bit of research i found that some drivers can do that, so i starting disabling and checking if it was better and it seems disabling the network driver makes "Picture 2" but i don't want to have it always offline, so i now used "LatencyMon" and the result is pretty much always like "Picture 3" where USBPORT.sys dominates, I tried reinstalling the network driver and the Intel Chipset USB drivers (there are 2) but nothing.

Thank you for your help in advance, like... a big thank you if some more info. is needed just ask

P.S. I tried using the xperf commands but i can't seem to make them work :/ and in Picture 2, when i was testing i think it was all green

Edit: I actually thought it would say the name of the picture

Hey, did you check DPC Latency already?

another one Usbport.sys causes high DPC over time.

The first link i tried but with no results, as for the second one, can Intel RTS have something to do with it ?

Btw, when searching about this subject i saw a lot of people saying that there are sound problems too. For me, sound is not a problem

But in the end i think that the network driver has something to do with this, since deactivating it makes it better

You can perhaps try (do them in steps, go to next one if previous doesn't help):
    - Disable C1E (BIOS)
    - Disable IEST - Intel Enhanced SpeedStep Technology (BIOS) / AMD Cool & Quiet (whichever applicable)
    - High Performance power plan (Control Panel - Power Options)

The 3rd option i've also tried, as for the first two i'll do some research and try them in the morning because i have to make sure i wake up early, after trying i'll give an answer.

    Hey,

So i went to my BIOS and started looking for the options you told me to disable, i only found the "IEST", the C1E i looked but couldn't find it.

As for "IEST" i disabled it but there are still spikes in my DPC. Do you need more information or something else ?

I was thinking also that the xperf command could help if i could do it right no ?
I used this guide for xperf:
How to Diagnose and Fix High DPC Latency Issues with WPA (Windows Vista/7/8) - Sysnative Forums

As I was writing this i tried again and got it to work till the moment when i have to put "xperf %userprofile%\Desktop\trace.etl" on the cmd which gives me an error, i tried opening manually through the Windows Performance Analyzer and i found the DPC graphics but i can't understand them, in the guide it shows a summary table, i didn't find that. I was thinking of showing it to see if you know what's there but in the cmd it said it has personal informations, how do i do it ?

You can re-enable IEST if it didn't help, it adjusts CPU frequency and voltages depending on load.

You can PM Fireberd and ask him to check this thread; he is the audio guru in the forums and have more experience with latency issues. Maybe he can guide you better.

But it's strange because i never had problems with my audio and i'm still thinking the network driver can be related, because like i said before disabling it makes it better. Can audio and network be related mixed in the problem somehow ?

Edit: I'll message him right away :)

Run Latency Mon and see what it says. Latency Mon will flood you with info, but maybe it will show what is really causing it.

Resplendence Software - LatencyMon: suitability checker for real-time audio and other tasks

Sound and networking can go hand in hand. Sound is a low priority device in Windows, Networking is high priority. Wi-Fi can cause audio dropouts, stuttering, pops, clicks, etc. Sound is on a shared Interrupt (IRQ) with a higher priority device and depending on what that higher priority device is, there can be problems.

In the first post i have a picture (3rd one) of what Latency Mon tells me, do you wish i let it run for a certain period of time ?

I have a Language Class that i have to go now, if you wish i run it for a long time i can only do it after :/

EDIT: I'll let it run for more 10 min (15 total) and send here the images of the 5 tabs
