I just did the steps and have noticed the computer a-little more responsive. I'll get back to you soon as I'll use it more and see how things go.

Sorry, I don't think I have ever done that.

Also, my computer is continuing to be slow and sluggish. Especially when I close a game. Not sure what else to do?

Well, you have to defrag your drive to get good performance, do it a few times until it gets done real fast, probably 3 or 4 times.

How long have you had this pc ?

Sorry, what do you mean by 'defrag'? (Sorry, not very good at the technical side of windows).

I've had this computer for about 2 half years

If this helps, when I originally bought the computer it didn't come with any OS system, I had to install windows 7 manually. (windows 7 purchased from ebay new)

    Processor poor Performance?

After running Defrag, Check task manager(Cntrl-Alt-Del) to verify "performance" has 8 CPU Usage History windows and what the CPU usage level(s) are? If only one history window, that would explain the slowness due to only 1/8th of CPU would be functioning!
