You will have to change file attribute, SAVE AS TYPE to ALL. If you don't it will be saved as a text file and will not run as BATCH File. This will delete old CBS.log old SFCDetails.txt filter CBS.log, save to your desktop and open sfcdetails.text. Please post those results. You run a batch file by double-clicking it or right-click choose run.

into notepad, copy and paste:

@echo off
color A
rem delete old files
del /q %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log
del /q %userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt
rem run sfc
sfc /scannow
rem filter out non essential junk from the cbs.log
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"
rem open details in notepad
notepad %userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt
rem optional command to shut down & restart pc after running. this may be needed if
rem sfc replaces some critical files. uncomment (remove the 'rem') to activate.
rem shutdown -r
exit

Would try a few fixes before trying repair install and certainly before clean install. Download Microsoft System Readiness Tool, CLICK HERE. When you run it, it will install and create CheckSUR.log (may take some time to complete). Please post that log. Can provide you with appropriate files to replace those that are damaged/corrupt.

Here are the logs attached to this message. Even after I ran the tool and restarted my computer the 3 items in the screenshot attached are still highlighted and missing.

You can open your windows 7 disk with 7zip. Here's how to locate the correct folder for your version of win7 CLICK HERE. Here's how to replace missing files CLICK HERE. If your win7 disk has only 4 numbers files in install.wim, 1 is not started it's basic, 2 home, 3 professional, 4 ultimate. If you post your CheckSUR.log as I requested, I can help find the correct files on win7 disk.

By the way all win7 disks have the files for BASIC, HOME, PROFESSIONAL, & Ultimate. ei.cfg file in sources folder contains your version. If you change the name or delete the file it becomes all in one in options for repair install or clean install, but you have to do repair or clean install with the same version you currently have.

Glad to see that MSRT (fix)ed 51 of the errors)) Therefore, you will only have to locate the 4 (Unavailable repair files) on your win7 disk. Do you want me to find them and provide link to my Google Drive account for download?
