Slow Loading of Windows 7 Personalize window ?

Hi

I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop and I've noticed that it gets rather slow at times whenever I click on the Personalization Window. In other words, it takes forever to load. I am still able to use my system but the Personalize Window takes a long time to load ....

Just click and save it to your desktop, take a look at it and please tell me what your thoughts are ?

My system runs smoothly the majority of the time despite only having 1 processor running @ 1.6GHz and 4GB of RAM.

Any idea on how I can speed up this loading ? Why does it do that ?

Does your screen name refer to Jordan Rudess and John Petrucci of the best band in the world, Dream Theater?!? I'm a long time fan since 1993 and pretty much have all the guitar parts memorized. Some bass too.

Anyhow, I've watched the video. You don't have Aero running!

Click the link at the bottom of the personalize screen to troubleshoot Aero. If you have the correct driver for your card installed, it will fix it. If not, install latest video card driver. As you're using it now under this condition, it looks like Windows 95 or something heh heh.

lol no It's just my name

I never heard of that band before

I enabled Aero and for some strange reason my system seems a lot faster with Aero enabled. Now the Personalize Window doesn't take forever to load. You would think that it would be quicker in "Classic Mode" but why is that ?
