Windows 7: error running chkdsk - recently installed program preventing .....

error running chkdsk - recently installed program preventing .....

Hello, hope someone can help me please, am struggling a bit with this one as i know something is not quite right but i don't know what it is.

ran a repair (f8) on bootup and got these resuts

prob sig 01 6.1.7600.16385
02 6.1.7600.16385
03 unknown
04 181
05 manual repair
06 1
07 no root cause
os version 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
locale ID 1033

ran a sfc /scannow and got these results (cbs.log attached)

if there is anyone skilled at deciphering these cbs logs i would appreciate some help

the chkdsk screen advises the following

cannot open volume for direct access
autochk cannot run due to an error caused by a recently installed package
an unspecified error occurred (766f6c756d652e63 3f1).

This is marked as resolved... Can you confirm this has been resolved and if so post the answer to what was causing the issue.

not 100% what i did really, found some 'solutions' online, assigned a letter to the system reserved partition and then ran the chkdsk again and it worked, ran the scan all the way through and no error message popped up!
