Windows 7: Not much files in C drive but it shows only few Gb storage left!!

Not much files in C drive but it shows only few Gb storage left!!

Shocked to see my c drive already filled without even having much files stored in it...so installed windir to find out which files occupied these spaces and found out

CBS 103.6 GB..
LOGS 103.6GB...

what these files are? can i delete this?

First let take a different look at things. I have no idea how well SpaceSniffer works.
103 gb of CBS log is a huge, very huge amount.

Complete the tutorial by Golden.

My concern is that program is calling them CBS logs but are they really CBS logs. One or two GB of CBS logs is a lot. I don't know how one would go about gathering that many CBS logs.

Ok,thank you..i will check the tutorial..in the mean time,what is CBS log and the another Log file? how and why they occupied this much space?

Logs are logs. If you care to look at them, then they serve a purpose. Else they are just dead meat.

Wolfgang is correct if they really are logs they can be removed.

Here is a program that I know has worked for many and I trust.
