    Clearing up the Startup list (Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit)


    I don't have any issues but I would like to know in this HijackThis log I could clear or untick to perhaps get rid of some items I have no need for.

    Here's the attached log.

    Glaice I don't know if I am on the same page but are you referring to the start up items in the msconfig startup tab??

    Hi Glaice,
    Not much bloat in there.
    You could if you want to
    just use 1 browser - (entries for IE/Chrome/Firefox) - delete FF/Chrome, turn off IE
    set to manual -- any as and when progs -- HTC, Samsung, Memeo, Punkbuster, (Spybot,Emisoft?)

    I do see a lot of missing (removed?) files, which you should re-install.
