I need help repairing corrupt files found by SFC /SCANNOW

I have run sfc /scannow multiple times and have followed the advice to put the data into the file cbs.txt. I have attached this file and would really appreciate help in dealing with the corrupt files. Thanks

    Hi Les,

Nothing actually wrong the log is only reporting Info changes.

I've been seeing a lot of this type of cbs activity lately.
MY OWN feeling is that the comp is being prepaired for W10.

    Hi Roy,

Thanks for the reply. That is good news I think. The reason I was looking for corrupt files was a problem with links that do not respond in the control center. I can access the control panel features but if I click on the individual links nothing happens. I can get to the individual apps by following the progression page by page until I reach the application I was trying to use. Also, when I install any program when I get to the finish button, I get the message "Cocreateinstancefailed; code 0x80040154 class not recognized. The programs will run OK, but do not put an icon on the desktop. This behavior prompted me to try to find corrupt files with sfc /scannow. I am back to square one as far as these issues go. Do you have any ideas that I could try?

    Thanks,
    Leslie

    Hi Les,
That error message bit of an odd one, sounds like something has made a registry change to you permissions.
Do you have any third party Tune-up utilities installed.
Could you also check the AVG changes log.

    Hi Roy,

I do have Wise Care 365 which has a tune up feature and Tweaking.com. I am using AVG free and I don't think it has a changes log as far as I can determine, advise me if you know where to find it. Interestingly the OS works fine except for the anomalies that I just defined. I have run Spybot as well as Malwarebytes and they come up clean.

    Hi Les,
i do know that wise has a registry clean up option, dont know if its auto on, but it should have a rescue/restore setting.
tweaking is an all in one tool, you select the option/s to run

the logs for most tools/av's is usually found in its history section.

    Hi Roy,
I have attached the history files from AVG. The Wise Care utility has never been a problem before (I use it on four additional computers). Interestingly, when I clicked on Wise Care to look at the history and restore feature a box popped up that said "Class Not Registered". I clicked on the OK button a number of times until the box disappeared and then Wise Care opened normally. I restored everything that Wise Care removed since November 2015.

    OOOPS.

    Hi Les,
see you ran combofix, BET you didnt turn off AVG when you ran it

I know you didnt AVG quarateined the files, that it was trying to clean/repair.

You need to rerun Combofix with AVG OFF, so that it can complete the repair/change.
ITs not a tool to be taken lightly
