Slow STARTUP time, est 2+ minutes, analyze bootlog help

Hi- new member, fairly limited troubleshooting knowlege. My Win 7 Pro system takes about 2 minutes to go from Windows screen to log on screen. I've uploaded a boot trace file here if anyone could take the time to do an analysis, I have no clue what I'm looking at or for, to see if there are any potential fixes:

Some quick notes - I set up a custom Event View logo and can see that boot times have been nearly this long since the machine was delivered to me over 2 years ago. So it doesn't appear that anything *new* may have caused this long startup time.

I get the same slow load times starting in Safe Mode, so I don't know what the issue could be. I also get the exact same slow times on a mirrored drive, one SSD the other legacy an IDE. So it's not a bad drive I don't think.

Any thoughts appreciated in advance. Thanks!
- Jon

Been a while since I've done troubleshooting on this forum but I think the steps are still the same hahaha.

First, go to msconfig, click on the startup tab, then uncheck EVERYTHING except your antivirus.
Second, please tell us what antivirus you are using.
Third, check for any updates from Asus for your motherboard, as well as AMD for your GPU.
Hope this helps and let us know what happens!

Hi windude99 - apologies for my absence and appreciate your reply. I was off for a few weeks, and now back to work. But I have too much going on right now to risk installing any possible updates for my motherboard at the moment. But I will look at that next when I have another block of free time to troubleshoot.

Quick notes - I just recently updated the driver on the AMD card, and it had no effect on the startup time. I also recently switched between antivirus software (RAV, MSE), and the slow startup was the same with either running. In fact, according to my event logs, the slow startup time was close to the same before any antivirus had been installed at all, or any other apps for that matter.

I'm left wondering if it could be a possible power issue. Some odd things like my DVD drive tray not opening, and one of my internal SATA ports not functioning are making me question that. But I have no clue how to diagnose such a thing, or if that might cause slow startup times anyway.

Thanks again for any thoughts.
