All programs freeze simultaneously after installing Windows 7

Hey, I have installed Windows 7 yesterday and installed all the official drivers from the Asus website (networking, graphics, etc).
I was previously running Windows 10, but I downgraded to Windows 7.
I have always had 2 partitions, Windows partition and a data partition, as well as some 2 other recovery or such partitions. I formatted my Windows 10 partition, installed Windows 7 on it, then copied all my important data to the Windows partition from the Data partition. I couldn't extend the Windows partition onto the Data partition upon formatting it (because the Data partition was not straight after the Windows partition, some recovery partition was inbetween), so I used MiniTool Partition Wizard to move the recovery partition before the Windows partition, then extended my Windows partition (listing this in case it's related to the drive).
I then did Chkdsk and it found no faults, and additional SFC scan.
On my Windows 10 installation, if one program froze, then well, it froze - but it did not impact my system.
However, on my Windows 7 installation I have the problem that sometimes (100% happens when installing any Adobe product, that's what is certain) when some intensive workload is put on like installing (which did not have any intensive impact on Windows 10) all of my system freezes. The application is not responding, Windows explorer doesn't do anything or if I have the start menu open then I can hover over items (and they highlight) but if I press on one it just freezes. The browser completely freezes, Microsoft Word freezes in a way where I can type but not open any menus, and Windows explorer freezes in that it will not open files and if I change directory it will load it for a very long time (the green bar does progress).
Overall the system is working fast, except for those freezes.
These freezes never ever happened in Windows 10.
By the way, after this freezing, all apps unfreeze at the exact same time, and the freezes usually last about a minute.
I'm not certain, but I think that my Wifi connection drops then also.

so you didn't successfully expand the system partition(like C)? It seems that your system partition is short of free space.
