    Slow system

    Hello,

    I have a 2 GB computer and Windows 7 64 home premium. The system is always accessing the hard drive and the system is slow.
    I tested the hard disk with a utility I downloaded an it's OK. I've formated the hard drive and reinstalled windows, but the problem remains.

    For using 2 GB RAM is will be slow.
    Try to upgrade &or add more GB to the RM, ideally is 8 GB, but most standard is 4 GB RAM.

    Try to do a antivirus check. recommended this;
    SUPERAntiSpyware.com
    is free, &or others.

    Do run Disk Defragmenter on the HDD, and do not use it if you are using SSD; select Analyze.

    Options.
    If you want a bit much faster, use SSD instead of HDD.
    The system OS install into SSD, and for data you can have save to HDD.
    This is my current setting.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
    Have you updated the machine yet ?
    That has become a pain lately but either way these are the three main updates to manually install,
    KB3020369 & KB3172605 & KB3125574

    I have all three on my OneDrive if you want them and not have to deal with the catalog,

    Otherwise you can use the catalog using internet explorer to get them all
