CPU pegged at 100%
I see that this is a very common problem but so far haven't found any solutions that have helped. about 2-3 minutes after booting up, the CPU hits 100%. The task monitor is not very helpful but was able to download the performance monitor and was able to see that there is one svchost process that hovers around 75-80 percent. i can kill it or restart it. I tried running the updater but it just runs non-stop searching for updates already loaded. I also tried to update the OS with the latest and it comes back saying its aready installed. Ive ran the PC Mechanic, MalwareBytes and Windows Essentials and all report no problems.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!

Download and run Process Explorer:
Process Explorer
Hunt through the results and see if you can spot the culprit.
Alternatively, run msconfig and then go to the Startup Tab. Disable half of them. If the problem goes away, add the disabled ones back in one at a time. When the problem returns you'll know what is causing it.

I did run the process explorer but it did not have a parent process and the name and description is generic. I haven't tried mschonfig but did try to stop, suspend, and even restart and got "denied". It does take a few minutes to start up. My guess is that its either an orphaned McAfee or Norton process. Another possibility is that auto update was on and Win10 got partially loaded. I cancelled mid-stream but it worked for quite awhile until this issue popped up. At this point, it looks like I either need to do a reload of the OS, upgrade to Win10, or buy punt and buy a non MS computer.
