    Computer frozen all the time

Hi, my computer freezes all the time, often right after startup. There is no blue screen or anything. Everything just freezes and I can't do anything (Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't work, etc.) so I could only hit the power switch to turn off the computer.

I've run the DM Log Collector and have uploaded the file here. However, it seems a lot of the info are 0 KB. If you need more info, I can run the SF Diagnostic Tool (I've been on this forum before, and it's been great before, and I've run that then; not sure if it's how it's done now). Anyways, please help. My freezing computer is driving me nuts!

I'll go check tomorrow morning. I do remember checking it recently, and if it's an issue of overheating, my computer is fine in that department. I always keep Speccy running in the background (see screenshot).

This section is only for BSODs. Go to the General section.

Well, I had a BSOD just now so I guess I can reply in this section. I've finished the steps--CHKDSK (restarted computer in safe mode with command prompt) and SCANNOW--and I've attached the results in a zip file. I've also run DM Log Collector again and included that in the zip file along with a screenshot of the BSOD (the screen just freezes, though, so there's no memory dump that I know of).

What is the next step? Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Ray2003,

    Apologies for the delay.

Are you still in need of help?

Yes. The problem is still there. I've run mdsched and the program only took 10 minutes (is this normal) before the computer restarting to a desktop that freezes for like 10 minutes then in the lower righthand corner, it informs me "there were no memory errors detected." Also, my monitors shut down while my computer stayed on recently--another new problem. Please help. Thanks.

Bad drive, or a bad install.

Re seat your memory, post your results.
