    Cloned HDD. Works every time. Faster than system restore or recovery. Also faster than reinstalling windows.. even if you use a USB FDD. You can use a RAID setup or just copy your HDD to another one after you've got it all set up and working.. then switch

I've tried to open System Protection in System in the Control Panel but it will not work. It gives an error of 0x81000203. I've rebooted and attempted but get the same thing each time.

What opinions do others have about enabling System Protection on a separate Data partition (D)? I do not recommend this normally because System Restore only restores OS and Programs anyway, so why have it possibly interfere with keeping the latest data set intact on D in case C needs...
