    Unusable Ram Problem


    I am currently running windows professional 32bit, when i open my system properties it says i have 4 gig installed ram but only 2.06 gig of ram is usable. how do i fix this?

    Windows 7 32 bit can only access about 3.3 gigs of 4. from that it uses 1 gig for cache thats good it speeds up your apps. the rest of the missing is probably used for an integreted video card.

    No fix possible

    Try win key + run then type msconfig, go then to "boot" tab, select "advanced options" and verify that "maximum memory" is unchecked, otherwise zigzag3143 has the reason

    Re-Install with..


    Re-Install with 64-bit OS. If you have a dual-core CPU or Quad-Core, you should be fine, (x64 for AMD Systems)
