well i was just wondering because i went threw new ram, on old mobo and original ram an old mobo returned new ram got new mobo and tested it with my older ram, i just found it funny that it went outside its mb limit and found an error, i am having no crashes or anything i was just testing, and i was wondering if that is a valid error.

Any error in memtest is worth investigating.

Although considering it is outside the 6GB limit, it may be a bug with memtest itself

i shall run another tonight, to see and if its outside the limit again i will just ignore it, this appeared in the 8th hour of the test.

i doubt it but does memtest by any chance test gpu ram???

Ran it again still came outside of my ram limit but came up alot faster, then left it running the rest of the night it was that 1 error that it found out of 7 hours of testing again. i changed some timings around and seeings whats up.

    Afraid not.

When adjusting timings, you can 'shortcut' testing by only selecting one particular test that normally fails ie In your case, Test #8

Once you start passing that particular test, then you can start the fun of running all of them again.
