My Windows Updates fails Error Code :WindowsUpdate_80070652

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.71.471.0)

Any thoughts ??

This is interesting, for normal updates this code suggests that another install is in progress (I not sure if Windows Defender is the same). This error can also occur if a dll is loaded that it needs to access, or if the downloaded file is corrupt.
Some thoughts
- If the update is already downloaded, try to install it in safe mode.
- Try to download the latest WD definitions and install manually, get them from the Microsoft Malware Protection Center

Which anti virus and anti spy-ware software you are using? Other than wd?

ESET Smart secuity ... But as if now i tried in selective startup with all protection disabled

Is windows defender turned off?

If that is disabled, Type windows defender in search bar and open it. It will ask u to turn it on, click to turn on. Then try to update
