Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc

I think that a repair install (upgrade) would be your best bet. In lieu of that approach, just reinstall, again. This should not be a problem, since you have just reinstalled.

My best advice, however, after you are up and running, have programs installed and activate, make a system image and put it in a safe place. In that way you will never have to come here again, with a similar problem.
