    Way to increase WEI

Hi everyone, just need some feedback on ways that I can increase my WEI.

I know I'll need a SSD to boost my Hard Drive mark.

There's really not much you can do, except for buying different hardware..
You can do a few things in here but it probably won't do much, if anything for your WEI score, which isn't bad BTW.

your RAM has the same score, so your rating will not improve. your overall score is only as high as your lowest sub-score. although i hear there is a hack if you really want to change it.

    Hi Sandeep,

Yeah, there is not much you can do to increase your WEI score other than buying faster hardware. Sometimes a new device driver version can help improve performance.

The WEI hack that Kword mentioned will only artificially change the WEI score, and will have no impact on your computer's performance. It is only done for fun.

You could over clock the cpu a little and make sure the ram is running the same frequency as cpu, i got my score from processor being 3.0 to 3.3 and ram being 4.1 to 4.3.

Then if you could improve the hdd your score would be slightly better :)

My overclock was quite small, from 1913mhz to about 2039mhz, the cpu being sync with ram makes most of the difference i think..

Maybe this will not apply to you my machine is old, but thats how i improved my score/performance.

See here what i mean about frequency: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=516502

And make sure you have all the latest drivers...
That sometimes increases your scores by a tenth of a point or so.

Ah yes forgot to mention that, but on another note sometimes they can work both ways and newer drivers can decrease benchmarks etc..

WEI means nothing, use it as a 'guide' but nothing else

Thats not strictly true, it does work as in if you overclock or buy better hardware you get a better score, but its not very broad and there are much better ways to benchmark your pc.
