Win 7 gets slow after hour+ Hello,
I'm new here and also on windows 7. I installed it yesterday and I have already met with few problems.
When 7 starts everything works fine but after hour or hour and a half it starts to work very slowly.
My PC: AMD Athlon 3200+
GeForce 7900gt
2GB Kingston RAM
200+320GB Hards
I use Ultimate version. Where can be the problems ? Is my PC not to strong to work with 7 ? How I could solve that problem ? Maybe I should turn off something ?
Thank,

(A quicker way to bring up the task manager is to either press Ctrl+Shift+Esc or right-click on the task bar and select it from the context menu )
Since it's a fresh installation, it may also be a scheduled task that is kicking in. ie The search indexer | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Computers by SmartEyeball OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 3x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce *TRI SLI* Sound Card ALC898 / 5.1 receiver/ ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 5760*1200/ 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser IE, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

Any more suggestions ? You might want to turn off Utorrent and make sure it's not set to turn on when you start Windows. It's eating up 29 percent of your cpu at the moment. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |

You could probably do with a processor upgrade too but thats up to you.

One more down. I noticed that is usually starts after 1 hour ~40minutes after PC start.
When the PC was slow I checker processes and "System Idle Program" was taking 40-90% of CPU.
Then I restarted PC, and it's the same, but PC works normally...
I have no idea what to do.. Please help.. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 CPU AMD Athlon 3200+ Motherboard ASUS A8N-E Memory 2GB Kingston Graphics Card GeForce 7900GT Monitor(s) Displays LG 1982U Screen Resolution 1280 x 1024 PSU 450W Hard Drives Maxtor 200GB
