    Hello R2L,

This is normal. Whenever explorer is opened as another process by you or the program instead of as just another window (instance), it will start a new explorer.exe process. You will notice that the extra process will end a few moments after you close the other explorer window.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Well, it may take longer on some than others to close though.

On our forum is excellent tool Process Hacker https://www.sevenforums.com/227134-post12.html

    Replace task manager with it,

1.Prepare classic log from PH :Hacker>>Save -save file as any name
2.Prepare log from *.dll modules hanged to each explorer.exe processes:

    for both explorer.exe processes

-find each explorer.exe process, right click on it>>properties (images)

it open another window, navigate to modules tab right click there and choose "select all"

When you have all selected again right click and choose copy>>copy (image)

Now open notepad navigate to Edit tab choose "Paste",and save file as any name.
Classic PH log and logs from modules attache to post
