Waking from sleep

My compuer is set up to go to sleep after 1 hour (hybrid sleep option has been turned off). If I wake up the machine after about three hours Windows resumes ok but if it is left asleep overnight then instead of resuming Windows it reboots.

Any idea why this is happening and is there some way to correct this?

JP

Hello JP,

Is it possible your computer is set to hibernate after a certain amount of time? Check and confirm that. Could be a resume from hibernate that is causing the issue.

Thanks,
~Jonathan

In the power settings, Hibernate After is set to Never so the machine would not be resuming from hibernation.
