Ok.... I think we need to start being a bit more clear here for the sake of people wjo don't really know that much about RAM speeds and timings.... When talking about your RAM speeds, may I suggest we all use the core speeds as indicated by CPU-z? For example, the DDR2 @ 400MHz (first quote) is most likely the core speed, making an effective 800MHz. The PC2-6400 @ 750MHz is quite likely effective speed, making a core speed of 375MHz.
This would be so confusing to a noob who didn't know how Double Density RAM (DDR) works..... Just thought I'd get that out there.
PC2-6400 @ 750Mhz 5-5-5-18 due to motherboard.
SO-DIMM by the way, my desktop is smaller than most College text books.
