(you were running the platinums previously weren't you?)
Ironically I had to 'relax' some of the timings closer back to stock to make it through a 'quick' 50 pass on LinX and am getting a minutely higher bandwidth with the same latency

Although you should be getting a higher total if it's actually running @ 1066mhz with the rated timings of 5-5-5-15
Download CPU-Z and post a screenshot of the Memory tab.
ie: Pay attention to the DRAM frequency - if it's only showing 400mhz, then your RAM is only running @ DDR2 800mhz speeds.
It should be showing 533mhz etc | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Computers by SmartEyeball OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 3x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce *TRI SLI* Sound Card ALC898 / 5.1 receiver/ ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 5760*1200/ 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser IE, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

man i have to get up to day on this new ram before this computer i was on PC 3200 DDR1
i have it set like they told me in the bios 5-5-5-15 and the voltage of 2.1 do u think i can get a little more out of it?? im trying to make up for the fact im poor and couldnt afford 1000.00 for an extreame chip so i have a locked CPU chip (im stuck at 2.83) but i never see it go over 2.0 (333-X-6.0 when it should be 333-X-8.5) -- i finally got my video card to run at the 650 and not 500 i still need alot of tuning which i dont know how to really do LOL | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom built by myself OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit CPU Intel Core 2 quad Q9550 2.83 12 MB Cache 95 Watt OC to 3.4 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Rev 1.6 Socket 775 Running 1600 FSB Memory 4 GB Patriot Viper II 1066 2X2GB Memory PV224G8500ELKB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT GV-N95TOC-1GI overclocked to 650 MHz Sound Card Realtec HD on board Monitor(s) Displays LG W2053TQ Screen Resolution 1600X900 Keyboard Dell Quietkey (POS) Mouse GE PS2 Optical PSU Ultra LSP750 750-Watt Case Leadertek FX626 or Foxconn FX-626BKH Cooling Cool Master V-8 (its Big),1 80 MM Fan and 2 92 MM Fan Hard Drives Hatchi 160 GB SATA II System drive

Well it's running at 1066mhz spec...
There are bound to be few different BIOS options to try.
The Q9550 has a 8.0-8.5 multi. The 6.0 / 2.0Ghz sounds like Speedstep. (if reading from CPU-Z)
You should be able to Overclock that chip to 3.2 -3.4 on stock cooling quite easily. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Computers by SmartEyeball OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 3x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce *TRI SLI* Sound Card ALC898 / 5.1 receiver/ ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 5760*1200/ 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser IE, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

Slow?
Hm. I had thought my Dell laptop was fairly quick, but my memory assessment showed 2419 Mb/sec. I have 2G RAM @ 1.46 GHz and to my untrained eye it looks like it's performing slower than it should. Or do I have this wrong? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron 1720 OS Windows 7 Professional 32 bit CPU Processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2310 @ 1.46GHz, 1 Motherboard Dell 0UK434 Memory 2G, DDR2 Graphics Card Mobile Intel(R) Express Chipset Family (Microsoft) Monitor(s) Displays Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family (MS WDDM 1.1) |

Or do I have this wrong? The '1.46GHz' would be your CPU, not the RAM speed. If you download CPU-z from CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting and check the 'Memory' tab at the top, that will tell you more information regarding your RAM speeds. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number .oO-monstrosity-Oo.
