Most of the good numbers you see are desktops, with fast ram (and often lots of it), and good CPUs (with great memory controllers). A lot of us have 1600MHz and faster ram, and fast CPU's. I'm sure your laptop is plenty good

I'm curious to see what other people are getting for their WEI disk scores. I would like to see all types and combinations of drives to see how they differ in performance. If possible try to keep HDTach/HDTune/etc. scores to a minimum as there is another thread for that.

I ran winsat mem a couple of weeks ago and got a 13600+ read.
Ran it today and got 15985 read.
Only system change was adding a Radeon 6670 Video card.
Does memory speed change this much ? What might cause the disparity ?
