Just found the memory assessment thread, thought I'd give it a shot. I have 12Gb DDR3 running at 1333Mhz.

Been a little while since I've been here, and thought I would see what mine did. I assuming this is ok? 6 gig ocz triple OCZ3G1600LV2G. Timings at 8-8-8-24 1T, and I think the highest I could ever get it was 738.1 mhz
Thanks
Hi bloke, I am hoping i havent come in a t the wrong place - i am not used to posting - anywayhere goes . i have used a programme called Speccy on my machine and have found somehing strange. I am supposed to have 2gb ddr3 8l00mhz but speccy says its running at 399 mhz.

That is correct and perfectly normal... Any RAM with the term 'DDR' in it refers to Double Data Rate, the clock speed reported by 90% of system reporting programs will report the core clock speed of the RAM.
If you want to find out more, read up on Wiki's page here. Hope that helps...
That's perfectly fine, particularly since it's not running at the full 1600mhz.
I have the same RAM and for comparison sake:
*NB* I am currently playing with timings as well which affects the score a little.
If you could download CPU-Z and post a screenshot of both your 'Memory' and 'SPD' Tabs we can have a look see.
