| | [7057] Dell Optiplex 755 - Unable to enable write caching I have a Dell Optiplex 755 with 2 SATA hard drives. I am unable to get write caching enabled. I didn't know there was an issue until I tried to run the WEI and I got an error "Could not measure storage performance. The disk cannot be accurately assessed white write caching is disabled. Before re-running the Disk assessment, check the Device Manager option to enable write caching." I went in there and I cannot change it. "This device does not allow its write-caching setting to be changed." It then mentions going to the BIOS to change it. I have the BIOS setting at "Performance".  |
