Power Options doesn't save

In my power options I have my own setting.
It's very simple it basically just says to never put the computer to sleep and to never turn off the display.
Despite this the monitor is always turned of after a while.

Is there a way to save my power options so that the monitor is never turned off?

Thanks

Hello Aperture,

If you are sure you are saving your changes before closing the windows, perhaps it is another program interfering. For instance, do you have any power-saving programs that came with your machine?
