Windows 7: need help. disk read error

It is offering you 3 partitions to recover?

Try ticking them all then click ok , then Apply.

i did everthing..but nothing worked..i might have did something wrong...but ive decided just to reinstall windows 7...i sincerley thank u for ur help....but i have one more question.... do u kno what could have cuased this so i will kno what not to do??

You most likely will not be able to reinstall windows. It seems that there is a harddisk faliure, it happens. If you can however, be sure not to stress the system.

well, dont play for six hours straight, dont go into -90 degrees C, Dont swim with it, dont go to the Sahara desert with it...

Download and burn to CD your hard drive diagnostics/repair DOS version. Seagate has Seatools, WD has Lifeguard, etc. It will be on the Support Downloads webpage for your model HD.

You can also try the Surface Scan and File System check on PW CD.

well i still got a warranty on my computer..do u guys think i should take it in to get looked at..or is this just a natural problem?
