    USB Transfer rate from 22 MB/s to 400 KB/s?

Anyone ever experience this? I am transferring 1.25GB off my USB flash drive, but for some reason it starts off at 22 MB/s for like the first couple of hundred, then it slows down more and more, looks like it's gonna stop soon or something.

In the BIOS, do you have the USB set at high speed, instead of full speed? The former is faster.

I doubt it. It seems as if it was only doing this because of the amount of files? That's weird. I transferred 800Mb of about 40-50 PDFs in about 20 secons. The minute I got to the directory (which was only 28MB), it took about 5-10 minutes. It had about 5,500 files... Strange
