Got any spyware apps running? If so try turning it off and run the update.

Hey,

I had this problem on build 7000, after a few weeks i discovered that it was caused by an activation crack, so i reinstalled with a genuine product key, could this be your problem too?

Why would any W7 build at the moment need an "Activation Crack". All the BETA build 7000 keys work for builds 7000, 7022, 7048, and 7057 and are publicly available all over the Internet.
