Windows Experience Index Low Score 64bit

    Windows Experience Index Low Score 64bit


    Had win7 32bit and my WEI score was 4.3 .. installed Win7 64bit and now my score is 1

    Graphics got the Base score of 1 and Gaming Graphics got 2

    These were not so low in win7 and vista .. what gives ??

    Just re ran it again .. and the PC just hang, had to shutdown ... I'm wondering if im having hardware issues with my video card. I was getting allot of BSOD hence why i reloaded and decided to give 64bit version a try

    Shut down the lappy for 1hr ... ran test again. now getting 4.7 .. heat ??

    You can check to see if heat is the issue by installing CPUID HWMonitor or something similar. I would not be surprised if you end up seeing CPU core temps around 78C or higher. That particular model tends to run a bit warm. Maybe a good idea to take it apart and clean the dust out of it or have it done.

    hey....guys....i ve been using windows 7 rc build 7057 for few months....and now i bought a original windows 7 x64 bit.....its very fast...but i am afraid it sucks up all my ram and in-built video card...can anyone suggest me an option?...mine is a dell inspiron 1525 with 3 gb ram and core2duo 1.86 ghz....can i afford to play games??....

    I have a lappy, not so easy to get inside and dust off, think i may just re-install 32bit version

    A 3.5 score seems about average for laptops. I wouldnt hope for much higher unless its a gaming grade laptop.

    I have an HP DV9000t .. 2.2ghz Dual Core, 2gb DDR2, 200gb HD, 512 dedicated Nvidia
