This is an SSD held back by mechanical hard drives and only minimal pruning of startup items.
Is your bios set to ahci? Mechanical hard drives shouldn't hold you back like that.

This test will check the speed of the drive you have your OS on.

If you have a normal OS setup on the SSD, then the HDDs won't affect the ReBoot time.

What Dave said is true. Restart time only has to do with the SSD. Here's my best restart time. Done with a 500GB Data drive and 2 1TB drives for backup and storage. The OS is on an Intel X25M.

    Mine in 52 seconds
    and old NC6400
    Win7

i dont have the software to calculate it, but the post catch my attention and since i already have saved that time for routine maintenance purpose. That time was measured from bios untill windows shows me the desktop and antivirus is active, meaning that i stop the count when the HDD led activity stop blinking, and i guess that even when my password is short, but should be 2 or 3 seconeds faster if i remove it.

It's just a small app that doesn't install itself to your computer. It measures shutdown, post and startup.
