Windows 10 Pro. EFI boot partition, full EFI boot
 
 

Using Bootracer to clock it takes me 17 seconds to boot to the desktop. Used to be 15 seconds. The desktoips seems usable before that time though.

I downloaded the VBS. I didn't look at it so I am trusting you all

Now if I stopped all of those non essential services and startups I wonder what I would get.

Here's mine, with nothing disabled or tweaked. I wonder how much faster it would be if I had an SSD .

Usually they will go to around +20 seconds.

That's the speed I had with a spinner drive. It's 46 seconds with the SSD. A Guy

Wow, those are fast boot times with an SSD. I'm looking forward to getting one in a couple of months .

Very nice laptop and good restart time.

Do you notice an improvement with the 8GB mSATA SSD for caching.
