Hopefully Rickss69 will give us some input on what he has done. We'd love to know.

I'm at work atm...I'll get back and provide some specifics later.

Ok - So far this is what I have done:

Install OS with Sata configured to AHCI for ssd

Using on-chip graphics sliced a second off vs a video card

Fresh OS install with no video/sound drivers installed

    msconfig - kill startup/services...no GUIboot

Fresh install of Win 7 64 - Unable to get it any faster than this so far.

Installed OS with Sata configured as AHCI for ssd

    Enabled quick boot in bios

Discarded video card and used on-chip graphics

    No video/sound drivers loaded

    msconfig - no GUIboot...startup/services disabled

I agree.... I was rather disappointed with my restart time on my new build of 12/12/10
