    Hi BucSox79,

I see from your specs that you are dual booting. Are you taking into account the 30 seconds delay in the OS selection screen? If you take that into account, this brings your time down to 114 seconds, which is much more reasonable.

For information, I have changed the delay on mine to 10 seconds - long enough to be able to select which OS I want, but not so long as to make the boot time drag.

reboot time isn't a really good example of a computers power. All depends on set up and customization. Some XP users with "lightened" xp has clocked in at around 20 seconds reboot time, or less! Not to mention RAM type, PSU, CPU, number of hard drives (that could be a big hit), all the power options have to cycle off in order to hit the point where the computer turns everything back on.

Pretty sure my Pentium single core 2.4ghz rebooted faster on XP then the 61 seconds it took mine, but this computer has far better hardware, I'll take a couple extra reboot seconds.

I thought the 30 seconds was the time it took before it automatically loaded the primary OS if you have a dual boot? If you manually select the OS you want in say, 5 seconds for example then that other 25 seconds won't affect your boot time. That's how I thought it worked.

Anyway, here's mine on Windows 7 x64 7048 build. Not too bad I don't think. Not tweaked anything to try speed it up. Give it a week or so for for ReadyBoost to do it's stuff, and might be a bit quicker.

And how did Dinesh disable TMM? I thought it was disabled by default in Windows 7, and I can't find it in Task Scheduler?

    Whats your Restart Time?
Well that was rather unexpected, mine just tied yours without removing any startup processes or tweaking anything. That's with my much weaker CPU, less RAM and x86 Build 7000 as well.
