    16 sec isn't bad for any computer.

    You can strip down the startup programs and services, if you need a faster boot time.

    I keep everything running, with a couple of exceptions, speed is nice but functionality is better, for me anyway.

    the best i get is 15 secs, cant get any lower than that, but i saw a guy did it with 13 secs in previous page.

    Specs, settings, motherboard, BIOS brand and version, all have a lot to do with boot time.

    Compare your boot time with others that have similar specs.

    Depending on your specs, for some around 30 seconds is very good, on other systems 45 seconds is very good.

    If the specs are posted, someone might be able to give some recommendations on how to improve boot time.
