Mine was about 6 seconds slower in build 7000, but I attribute that to it being a 32bit build *and* the fact that I just installed the Digital Persona Software....which doesn't seem to work in W7....

I have the M$ Keyboard with FP Reader Built in (perhaps you were the one that pointed out that it was similar to the U.are.U 4000 B)....and it is not letting me register a FP - every time I try I get the two-tone sound that occurs when it does not read correctly - and it never registers.

I am also having issues with the KB being completely unresponsive when waking the machine up (all 4 indicator lights just blink on and off - thank goodness I foresaw this and have a second KB plugged into the PS/2 port so I can get around it without having to reboot right then and there, cause the mouse works, and I can force a reboot by going to "Switch User", and then I get the user list (still only showing my user name lol, and a shutdown / restart button at the bottom right) so I am removing DP and seeing if I get KB to start working out of sleep. If not, then next goes the M$ IntelliType software.

    Hi Ted,

That actually looks like the fastest ever ....

That looks like a minus in front of the numbers so that would mean it finished over three hours before you started.

can I assume this is your new build?
