    the best thing i do to see how much ram i can have is run the the scan at crucial

    RAM Memory Upgrade: Dell, Mac, Apple, HP, Compaq. USB drives, flash cards, SSD at Crucial.com

    that will tell you how much you can run

    Yep

    As others have stated, with a max of two DImm slots = 4Gb total.

    It will not improve games performance having 8GB.

    "Blazing fast" is a relative term.

    Some would say an 64x2 6000 @ 3.0 + 9600 is far from blazing.

    It all depends on what you want to blaze.

    Actually according to the specs, it has 4 DIMM slots...with each one taking a maximum of 2GB.....thus 8GB is possible.

    Yeah, some are real elitists when it comes to hardware...but that CPU is getting a bit outdated. It's far from unusable with Windows 7...but compared to the new Core i series CPU's....it simply cannot compete.

    8GB really doesn't make much difference over 4 when the OS isn't coded to take advantage of it anyway
