extra keyboard

Hi there. Got a laptop with Windows 7 to which I want to hook up (regularly) an extra (USB) keyboard.
Would it use up a noticeable amount of power and RAM?
Thank you for your thoughts on that.

No, keyboards use very little resources and power.
