    Maintaining your system files

    Hey,

I'm a real controle freak and like to keep my pc clean so what I tend to do sometimes is to check out a program and if I'm not satisfied with it I unstall it again ect.

Doing this sometimes result in deteling system files by accident (happened to my old pc).

My question is, is there any why one can run some kind of system scan that checks if everything is still in order and will then help you replace the file.

I would like to stay away from a complete system reinstallation.

    Thanks

Hmmm, just curious; I've never seen uninstalling an app remove system files???

Me neither. To OP, when you are trying new software, before installing, make a restore point, and then try it. The most safest way I think, no deleting system files? and all that. I still don't get it (about that deleting system files thing).
