Intel Pentium 4 2.8 ghz runs at 1.4ghz D: HELP!

    Maybe some sort of clock throttling? I think it was called SpeedStep for P4...

    Based upon this site BIOS Updates for VIA chipsets motherboards there are numerous versions of that mobo from *just* Sapphire- I suggest you make sure you know which one is the *actual* board you have....

    And then read the section about (if) the CPU is locked you cannot change the speed....

    hmmm, I think I just need to change the clock multipier to 21 133x21=2798 or something witch matches the normal speed but sadly my stupid bios doesnt have the clock ratio/multipier setting *sigh* so I'm trying to flash and update my bios to latest so I might get that setting

    any suggestion guys?
