Windows 7: Random folder cant delete

a lot of code went by using the /s switch and i noticed after each line it kept saying Access is Denied.

any ideas?

ok, the directory you wish to delete has a properties box, can you screen shot the "security" /edit tab for me. I need to see the "edit" portion b/c we need to see if they're "greyed" out. If you can't edit the securities, the permissions are being inherited from a parent directory.


We can remove that inheritance but we need to see where it's coming from first.

Delete it from safe mode.

Solved

You have a WIM mounted with DISM.
At an administrative command line type the following:

dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:%temp%\rt_mount /discard


You are GOOD!
