Hello Skostro,
It sounds like it may be reminding you to create a set of OEM Factory Recovery Discs to use to do a factory restore of Windows 7 with just in case something should happen to your recovery partition. If you wanted a clean install, then a set of OEM Factory Recovery Discs would be good to have. Especially if you need to replace the HDD.
OEM Factory Recovery Discs completely different than the other two.
- The 'System Repair Disc' only allows you to try and repair your current installation. It will not reinstall Window 7.
- The 'System Image' is a clone of the selected hard drive and partitions. It will restore Windows 7 and your HDD completely back to like it was when the system image was created. It can be better to use than a factory restore since all of your programs and current drivers are included in the system image instead.
What brand is your computer? I'll post back full instructions from your computer manufacturer's website on how to for your reference.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
