odd 11gb file on c drive win7 32 bit

I have this odd 11gb file on my c drive named "wipe".it just appeared and is a hidden file. was tempted to delete it but after finding nothing on the internet for it; wanted to find out if anyone else has that file on their windows 7 c drive; or what exactly that file does, so i know if i can safely delete it. Screenshots of the file and its properties is below

I don't have that file on my drive. I wonder is a program of yours created that.

I would suggest copying that file to your desktop, then deleting it.

That way, if anything goes wrong, you can restore the file.

tried that.. fingers crossed

i did a macrium image backup and then deleted it. my pc has started up safely. but i wonder which program will create an 11 gb file anyway. id hold on to the backup to check if anything goes wrong..
