Windows 7 - Settings to use max RAM
Hey I've got 6GB of RAM was wondering how to set it up so it uses it all?
Thanks.
OS Windows 7: Ultimate (64 Bit) CPU Intel CORE i7 930 Motherboard Gigabyte EX58-UD3R Memory 6GB Graphics Card(s) ATI Radeon HD 5770 Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (ALC888), Sound Blaster LIVE! 5.1 [E400] Hard Drives Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB (SATA @ 7200RPM) PSU 650W Case Thermaltake Kandalf Cooling Stock Internet Speed ADSL+2
Windows will use all the RAM it needs, unless you instruct it otherwise. There is a setting in msconfig to limit the amount of RAM, so just make sure that is not set.
Hope this helps,
~JK

Enabling PAE when it is already on does nothing. On new processors that have hardware DEP, PAE is on.
