Can you tell a lot of differance from one to another? I mean the speed in germany. I have done everything and I cannot get the speed back to were it was 2 weeks ago, I guess I am going to live with this BS.. Everybody on the net is mad as **** over the way bellsouth AT&T does people there service in the worst I have ever seen... Maybe the 150kbps will not make that much differance.
As I said, for downloads I really see a big difference, especially since my German connection often runs faster than what I pay for. But in webpage access, it solely depends on where I go. A German website displays very fast, but going to a website in the US from there may take some time. That has to do with the number of hops.
I never had any problems with Bell South/ATT. For US websites, the access times are "as expected" and pretty fast. Download is a lot slower than in Germany because my line is rated 4 times slower.

    notsograymatter,
You day DON'T use registry cleaner. Do you mean the one in Ccleaner, or the one specifically called Registry Cleaner?
    Thanks,

Switch to Google DNS - Google Public DNS

It won't increase download time, but it should (depending on your current DNS) increase DNS resolving time, meaning faster page loading time.

Maybe something else is consuming your bandwidth, download online armor, that will allow you to see all active connections, and how much bandwidth they're consuming.

Thanks very much it does help.. The thing is bellsouth is keep slowing us down a little at a time. 100kbps here and 150kbps there..I am still looking for that loss of speed..
