    What should be the ram usage at idle status


    Mine is 40% with samurize, avast antivirus and firefox.

    Hello Kintomaniac,

    With 2GB of RAM, I would say that would probably be about right. :)

    I have 8GB, and I'm sitting at 20% on average.

    That sounds about right to me, with 2Gb RAM. :)

    Yep, that's normal. Mines the same usage as Brinks with 8GB.

    On my Vista machine with 1.5GB Ram it hovers around the 40-45% mark.

    Rofl. I'm at 52% with 6GB... Firefox uses 1.15 GB :[
    Okay ill admit I have 41 tabs open, but still memory usage just increases if i leave it on for too long.

    About 30% with 4GB here.

    My machine with 512MB runs at about 65% - 70%
