    how to make mini laptop faster ?


    hi
    i have a new mini laptop and he work's a litle slowly
    my configuration is: mini HP laptop, intel 160 atom, 2G memory, Windows 7 starter

    what is the recommended anti-virus and browser to enlarge the laptop speed ?

    (i have chrom and symantec endpoint 11)

    You have a single core atom processor in that computer, it will never be a power house. The "netbooks" are meant for only web browsing and some lite document processing. If you need something faster sell it and buy a real laptop.

    i know that,
    (i have DELL latitude D520)
    but i what to know how i can speed my mini laptop and to know if the anti-virus and the browser are good
    for this mini laptop

    As far as an AV, Microsoft Security Essentials is free and has a pretty small footprint. Maybe worth a try

    Chop the msconfig startup list from any HP bloatware. Honestly, netbooks are pointless. Weak, small and too limited.

    if you are using the laptop via the mains, you can set it to run at High Performance in the Power Options, via the Control Panel

    it may be set to Balanced Performance to save battery power..

    You probably wont notice anything, it may suck off 30 minutes to an hour off your cap 6 hour battery life... but it woudl be an improvement.

    There isnt much you can do with a netbook, as stated above, it was created solely for Lite browsing/Processing.
