Tepid, we don't argue, we discuss. And there are indeed varying views regarding the impact of frequent writes to an SSD. But from all the information I have gathered, there is not really a problem considering the technology and a reasonable assumption on how long one will keep the device.
In addition, the point at hand which is page file, there should be no problem at all considering the relatively infrequent write operations (of bigger chunks) to the disk.

hi i have windows 7 64 ,,with 4 gb ram,,do i need the page file on or will i see better performance with it off. Does it make any difference as i tuned it off on a vista machine and noticed it was better in gaming,, Was wondering if its same in windows 7 . thanks sinbin
